DU B.Com exams for December 2026 start on Friday, 4 December (Semester 5, Income Tax Law and Practice) and the core papers end on Friday, 18 December. B.Com (Hons) papers are at 9:30 AM and B.Com (Prog) papers at 2:30 PM (Semester 7 B.Com (Prog) is at 9:30 AM). Your SEC, VAC, GE and AEC papers come after that, ending with AEC on 26 December (Semester 1) or 28 December (Semester 3).

So a Semester 1 B.Com (Hons) student's December looks like this: Management Principles (7 Dec) → Business Laws (11 Dec) → Financial Accounting (14 Dec) → SEC (17 Dec) → VAC (21 Dec) → GE (23 Dec) → AEC (26 Dec).
How to Use the Gaps Between Papers

Semester 5 is front-loaded. Income Tax (4 Dec), the SEC (5 Dec), Business Economics (9 Dec) and Management Accounting (12 Dec) come in the first nine days. Start Income Tax now: the Income Tax Law and Practice PYQs show which computation questions come back every year.

Semester 1 has a week between its first and last core paper. Management Principles is on 7 Dec, Business Laws on 11 Dec and Financial Accounting on 14 Dec. After Business Laws you have three days, so spend them solving Financial Accounting past papers under time limits. Reading notes won't prepare you for the numericals.

Semester 3 has three DSCs in eight days (8, 10 and 15 Dec). Work through Business Mathematics PYQs first, because it's the first paper and the one where practice matters most.

Common papers come last. SEC, VAC, GE and AEC fall in the second half of December, so revise them after your core papers, not before.
